Paul Helman

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Paul L. Helman, 54, of Villa Ridge died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 20, 1952, at Cairo, Ill., son of George M. and Flora Bridges Helman.

Helman was a member of the Villa Ridge Union Church. He was a farmer with Boar Creek Valley Farms at Villa Ridge.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Berry Helman; two sons, Bobby Helman of Villa Ridge, Darrell Malone of Pulaski, Ill.; a daughter, Billie Holshouser of Anna, Ill.; his parents of Villa Ridge; a brother, David Helman of Villa Ridge; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Villa Ridge Union Church.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.

Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
