PAUL DODD

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Paul A. Dodd, 94, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 8, 1907, in Jonesboro, son of Addison Byron and Ethel Rushing Dodd. He and Helen Brown were married Jan. 29, 1926, in Granite City, Ill. She died July 18, 1997. Dodd had been a painter.

Survivors include two sons, Francis Dodd of Alto Pass, Ill., Gordon Dodd of Adair, Okla.; a sister, Ruth Dodd of California; a brother, Kenneth Dodd of Anna, Ill.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
