PUXICO -- Paul Burge, 84, of Puxico died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at his home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1913, at Puxico, son of William and Laura Hawks Burge. He was a 1934 graduate of Puxico High School.
Burge spent most of his life in Puxico. He retired as a machinist at Autotronics and Planet Tool Companies in St. Louis. He also custom built and repaired clocks many years.
He was a member of the Christian Church, and Puxico Masonic Lodge 596.
Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Helderman of Columbia, Marilyn Ham of Puxico; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 5 p.m. today. Masonic service will be at 7.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Buttry, the Rev. Wiley McGhee, and Lonnie Guilliams officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.
