Paul K. Bick, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
He was born March 12, 1923, in Maplewood, Mo., to Bernard and Carrie Hach Bick. He and Pauline H. Dryden were married Oct. 18, 1947, at Brentwood, Mo.
Paul was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Air Corps.
He was a field engineer 37 years with Burroughs Corp. in St. Louis. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and head usher more than 36 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 63 in Cape, and former chaplain of Brentwood American Legion Post 101.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline H. Bick of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Phyllis Bick of Wilmington, Del., and Peggy (Barry) Zerbe of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Arline Foster and Marian Bick of St. Louis; a grandson, Derek Zerbe of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandchildren, Simon and Jayma Zerbe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Centenary Church, with the Revs. Jim Sanderson and Karen Nothdurft officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum, with full military honors by Missouri Honors Team.
Memorial contributions may be given to Centenary United Methodist Church.
