MARBLE HILL -- Paul Henry Allen, 82, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 3, 1915, at Burfordville, son of Gilbert Early and Audrey Iola Call Allen. Allen was a self-employed machinist and welder, and member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church. MARBLE HILL -- Paul Henry Allen, 82, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 3, 1915, at Burfordville, son of Gilbert Early and Audrey Iola Call Allen.

Allen was a self-employed machinist and welder, and member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church. He had lived in Marble Hill 56 years.

Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Buck of Pevely, Juline Trokey of Hazelwood, Virginia Horton of St. Louis, Shirley Greil of Jefferson City; a son, Jerry Allen of Maplewood; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Leslie officiating. Burial will be in Lesley Ridge Cemetery.
