Nations, 71, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at her home.

She was born March 7, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Arthur R. and Cora Lee Gilder Garrett. She and Rex M. Nations were married Dec. 29, 1955, in Cape Girardeau.

Nations moved back to Cape Girardeau in December 1989 from Louisville, Ky. She was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
