Patsy Ruth Amsden, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1933, in Sprott, Missouri, to the late Lawrence and Lucy Drake Herzog. Patsy married Carl Lee Amsden. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Lisa (Lynn) Mills of Oran, Missouri, and Kim Amsden of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Mary Ann "Tootie" Seguin of Huntsville, Alabama and Betty Boatright of Springfield, Missouri; granddaughter, Kali Pobst; great-granddaughter, Emma Lynne Pobst; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven siblings and grandson-in-law, Dylan Pobst.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri. The Rev. Mark Anderson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
