JACKSON -- Patrick E. McClellan, 73, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May 26, 1926, in North Dakota, son of William and Rose Dostar McClellan. He and Alberta "Candy" Adams were married Dec. 28, 1973. She survives.
McClellan served in the U.S. Army Air Force from July 1944 to June 1946. He lived in California for 38 years, where he worked for Richey Electronics in Buena Park. He retired in 1984, after 29 years with the company. He sang in the Whittier Barber Shop Choraliers.
After moving to Jackson, he became a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Altenthal-Joerns Legion Post 158 in Jackson.
Other survivors include two sisters, Helen Kersey and Margaret Ries, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a brother, Francis McClellan of Prescott, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a stepson.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. An Honor Guard service will be held at 7:30 p.m., followed by parish prayers at 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink and the Rev. John Cantore officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
