CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Patricia Ann Stallings, 53, of Charleston died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Jan. 23, 1948, at Mississippi County, daughter of John William "Bill" and Frances Martin Stockman. She and John Calmore "J.C." Stallings II were married March 20, 1974.
Stallings lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She worked as the deputy assessor for the county and had formerly been a beautician in Charleston.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Calmore "P.J." Stallings III of Charleston; two brothers, Wayne Stockman of East Prairie, Mo., and Larry Stockman of Metropolis, Ill.; two sisters, Geraldine Owens of East Prairie and Shirley Hooker of Bulls Gap, Tenn.; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery near Charleston.
