BERTRAND -- Patricia Jean (Patty) Cummins, 55, of Bertrand, died Friday, Oct. 25, 1991, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Charleston, daughter of George Haws and Armintha Tyler Haws.
She had lived in Bertrand since 1971. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston.
On May 18, 1956, she married Don Cummins. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother; a son, Mark Cummins, of Lake St. Louis; a daughter, Melanie Wissore of Charleston; two brothers, Charles Haws, of Landrum, S. C. and George Haws of Charleston; six sisters, Dolly Brown and Judy Whitson, both of Jonesboro, Ark, Betty Ward of Waterloo, Ill., Frances Embry of Jacksonsville, Fla., Mary Ann Martin and Teressa Haws, both of Bertrand; and five grandchildren.
Service will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Charleston, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston until noon today.
