Patricia A. Birk, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Grosse Pointe, Mich., to Orla A. and Clara B. Allen Tellis. Patricia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, August W. Birk of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Cynthia (Graham) Otto of St. Louis and Julie Birk of Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Richard Schnarr of Colorado Springs, Colo...

She was born Jan. 6, 1929, in Grosse Pointe, Mich., to Orla A. and Clara B. Allen Tellis.
Patricia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, August W. Birk of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Cynthia (Graham) Otto of St. Louis and Julie Birk of Pensacola, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Richard Schnarr of Colorado Springs, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Patricia Schnarr.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Breite officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
