Patricia Allemang, 98, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at her home. She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in St. Louis to Edward and Anna Stahl Smith. She married George Allemang on Sept. 3, 1938. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1998. Patricia attended Washington University in St. Louis where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Patricia Allemang, 98, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at her home.

She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in St. Louis to Edward and Anna Stahl Smith. She married George Allemang on Sept. 3, 1938. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1998.

Patricia attended Washington University in St. Louis where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. After college, she worked in the admissions office at Webster College.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth (Kaspars) Videnieks of Rockville, Maryland, and Margaret (Micheal) Riggs of Cape Girardeau; three grandsons, Markus (Lindsey) Videnieks of Washington, D.C., Benjamin (Laura) Chisman of Charlestown, Indiana, and Timothy Chisman of Helena, Montana; as well as four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

It was Patricia's wish her body be donated to Washington University to further medical research.

Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
