Pat Mason, 78, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at her home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Cape Girardeau to George and Mary Edith Hagan Mason.
She graduated from May Greene School and Cape Central High School. She attended Cape Business College. Pat worked at KFVS Television for 50 years, retiring Feb. 25, 2011, as the national sales coordinator. She was a former member of the Jackson Trail Riders, enjoying riding her Tennessee Walking horses.
Survivors include a sister, Carol (Tom) Madding of Cape Girardeau; a niece, Kimberly Madding of Cape Girardeau; a cousin, Herb Wickham; special friends Tommy and Nora Fornkohl, Ann Bauer, Susie Richards, Mike and Peggy Moore and Louis Geldmacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. A eulogy by friends and staff of KFVS will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
