EAST PRAIRIE -- Pat Boone, 65, of Plantation, Fla., formerly of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1992, at Manor Care Nursing Center, following an extended illness. She was born Feb. 20, 1927, near Matthews, daughter of Fred A. and Ava Hinton Uthoff. She and Dale F. Boone were married Dec. 13, 1945. He died Oct. 14, 1967...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Pat Boone, 65, of Plantation, Fla., formerly of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1992, at Manor Care Nursing Center, following an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 20, 1927, near Matthews, daughter of Fred A. and Ava Hinton Uthoff. She and Dale F. Boone were married Dec. 13, 1945. He died Oct. 14, 1967.

Boone was a retired beautician and secretary for Missouri Utilities in East Prairie. She was a member of Nelson Methodist Church here.

Survivors include two brothers, Harold and Verlon Uthoff of Charleston, and a sister, Bonnie Crosno of Plantation.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Lathum will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
