Pansy A. Strack, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1923, at Sedgewickville, Mo., daughter of John and Ruby Johnson Barks. She first married Enos Sebaugh March 30, 1940, at Sedgewickville. He died Sept. 26, 1968. She and Edward Strack were married Aug. 14, 1979, in Cape Girardeau.
Strack worked in housekeeping, and had been a cook at Critesville School at Daisy. She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church, Critesville Homemakers Club, Jackson Extension Club, was a 4-H leader, served on Farm Bureau Board, and was an election official. She was a former member of Sargent's Chapel at Sedgewickville.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Douglas Sebaugh of Jackson; two daughters, Judy Criddle of Cape Girardeau, Gail Gosche of Jackson; a sister, Violet Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loren Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
