Pansy May Sisco, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born March 12, 1917, at Gideon, Mo., daughter of Henry and Carrie Jaco. She and William D. Sisco were married March 26, 1932, at Poplar Bluff, Mo. He preceded her in death Aug. 12, 1984.
Pansy moved to Cape Girardeau in 1938 from Poplar Bluff. She was an active member of First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau, and for many years was a member of Evening Light Trio, which sang at revivals and conventions.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sandy Sisco of Cape Girardeau; a daughter and son-in-law, Joanie and Donnie Kaufman of Cape Gir-ardeau; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Bergener of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Kathy Sisco, Debbie Sisco and Crystal Kaufman of Cape Girardeau, Mike Sisco of Fayetteville, Ark., Steve Sisco of St. Louis, Sabrina Sisco of state of Arizona; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, two brothers, a sister, and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Darrell E. Faire Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
