PUXICO, Mo. -- Funeral for Pansy McGhee of Puxico will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Kenneth Lambert and Lonnie Guilliams will officiate. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
McGhee, 86, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at Puxico Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 9, 1915, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of Ellis and Lina Davis Parmenter. She and Wiley McGhee were married July 1, 1933, at Bloomfield, Mo.
McGhee lived in the Bloomfield and Puxico areas most of her life. She lived at Gainesville, Mo., 19 years, moving back to Puxico 22 years ago. She was a member of First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jim McGhee of Jefferson City, Mo., Randy McGhee of Springfield, Mo.; a daughter, Anne Smith of Puxico; a brother, Denver Parmenter of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Jean Douglas of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
