OZELLA YARBROUGH

SIKESTON -- Birdie Ozella Yarbrough, 90, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 17, 1905, in Holdenville, Okla., daughter of John and Julia Pogue.

Yarbrough worked 20 years at Sikeston Laundry and Dry Cleaners. She moved here 54 years ago from Arkansas. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include four sons, Leroy Yarbrough of Flint, Mich., Bill Yarbrough of Newport Beach, Fla., Harold and Jesse Yarbrough of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sons, three daughters, a sister and two stepbrothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery at East Prairie.
