OZELLA VIRGINIA GOSSETT

SIKESTON - Ozella Virginia Gossett, 81, of Sikeston, died Friday at the Sikeston Health Care Center.

She was born Aug. 30, 1909 in New Madrid County to James Arthur and Susie Pauline Daugherty Gossett.

Gossett had lived at Sikeston since 1971. She moved to Sikeston after retiring from Merck, Sharp and Dohme Pharmaceutical and Biological Company of Memphis, Tenn., where she worked as a credit manager for 42 years.

She was a member of the East Side Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Memphis. Surviving are several cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 9 until 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis.

The Rev. L. Ronald McMillan, pastor of the East Side Cumberland Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be under the direction of the funeral chapel.
