OAK RIDGE -- Otto Wayne Garner, 45, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1992, at his home.
He was born Jan. 22, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Otto and Alice Eickey Garner. He and Theresa Johnston were married Nov. 19, 1966.
Garner was a 1967 graduate of Central High School. He had lived near Oak Ridge since 1969, and worked at Procter & Gamble from 1970-85. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Peter and Michael Garner of Jackson; a daughter, Lura Gurley of Cape Girardeau; a half brother, Gary Garner of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and paternal grandmother, Mabel Garner of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by an infant son.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate, with burial in Old City Cemetery at Jackson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 6-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6.
