ALTENBURG -- Otto A. Kasten, 83, of Altenburg died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 25, 1913, in Altenburg, son of Benjamin and Mary Grebing Kasten.
Kasten was a farmer and raised livestock. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. Willard Kassulke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
