EGYPT MILLS -- Otis Martin Lange, 83, of Egypt Mills, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born in Egypt Mills on Feb. 2, 1916, son of Martin Albert and Mary Dena Schwettmann Lange.
He married Vivian Bishop on Nov. 14, 1936, in Cape Girardeau.
He was a farmer and worked for Frisco Railroad and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Lange of Bonne Terre; five daughters, Mary Thiele and Betty Hengst, both of Egypt Mills, Patricia Moore of Ste. Genevieve, Donna Farrow of Oriole, and Brenda Blackwell of Oak Ridge; a sister, Marjorie Penrod of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandhild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills with Rev. Mark Martin officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
