EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Otis F. Bennett, 77, of East Prairie, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Raymond Grimes will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Bennett, 77, died Monday, July 1, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born July 12, 1918, at Holcomb, son of Nathan N. and Cora J. Fox Bennett. He and Pauline Kellick were married Jan. 4, 1940, in New Madrid.
Bennett was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Aters of East Prairie; a brother, Earl Bennett of Bernie; two sisters, Louise Ellis of Bernie, Mildred George of Sikeston; three grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
