PERRYVILLE -- Oscar W. Hacker, 81, of Perryville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1992, at Perry County Hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Perry County, son of Oscar and Elizabeth Hoehn Hacker. PERRYVILLE -- Oscar W. Hacker, 81, of Perryville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1992, at Perry County Hospital.

He was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Perry County, son of Oscar and Elizabeth Hoehn Hacker. He and Paula Weinhold were married Oct. 5, 1930.

Hacker owned and operated Longtown Waterwell Drilling Co., and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Longtown.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Wilbert Hacker of Perryville; a daughter, LaVerne Gross of Perryville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Zion Church. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
