Oscar L. Salas, 24, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at his home. He was born June 22, 1983, in Irvine, Calif., son of Ernesto G. and Lanette Lawrence Salas. Salas was a bricklayer. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; his father of Santa Ana, Calif.; three brothers, Jesus Salas of Cape Girardeau, Mario Salas of Philadelphia, Ceasar Salas of El Paso, Texas; and a sister, Jessica Salas of Cape Girardeau...

Salas was a bricklayer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; his father of Santa Ana, Calif.; three brothers, Jesus Salas of Cape Girardeau, Mario Salas of Philadelphia, Ceasar Salas of El Paso, Texas; and a sister, Jessica Salas of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from noon to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
