ANNA, Ill. -- Orville A. Miller, 99, of Anna died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1996, at City Care Center.
He was born Dec. 6, 1896, in Mill Creek, son of Jacob and Dora Brown Miller. He and Kedron Hunter were married Nov. 7, 1918, in Jonesboro. She died July 19, 1969.
Miller was a farmer. He was a member of Jonesboro Odd Fellows Lodge 241, and St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Miller of Anna; two sisters, Beulah Hase of Jonesboro, Erma Miller of Anna; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Don Poole officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
