Orville J. Glueck, 71, 2532 Tulip, died Monday, May 17, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Dec. 4, 1921, in Scott County, son of George and Lena Lux Glueck. He and Rita M. Orville J. Glueck, 71, 2532 Tulip, died Monday, May 17, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 4, 1921, in Scott County, son of George and Lena Lux Glueck. He and Rita M. Wulfers were married May 7, 1958.

Glueck served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Scott County Historical Society, VFW, St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary, Bed and Breakfast Club of Salvation Army of Southeast Missouri, and White House Retreat League of St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Glueck and Sally Balsmann of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Gladys Diebold and Alvina Jones of Cape Girardeau, Luella Glastetter and Rella Glastetter of Chaffee, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3838.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
