EAST PRAIRIE -- Orphia W. Cogdill, 90, of Doniphan, Mo., formerly of East Prairie, died Sunday, March 20, 1994, at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born July 3, 1903, at Golconda, Ill., son of Issace and Rosie Cullum Cogdill.
He married Ethel M. Goodman, Aug. 9, 1924.
Cogdill was a retired farmer. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, William O. Cogdill and R.V. Cogdill, both of Doniphan; a daughter, Geneva Hunsperger of Koshonong, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, a sister, four half-brothers and a half-sister.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, with Bro. Pete Morton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
