ORA ZENA SKELLEY

MATTHEWS -- Ora Zena Skelley of Matthews died Friday, Jan. 16, 1998, at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews. She was 93.

She was born May 6, 1904, in Southeast Missouri. She first married Dennis Hopkins. She then married William Skelley May 3, 1947, in St. Louis. He died Jan. 5, 1974.

She was a pastry cook. She was a member of the Shady Acres Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Gulch of Flint, Mich.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three daughters, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the chapel, with the Rev. Pat Hogan officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
