OPAL THEIS

ANNA -- Opal Schnaare Theis, 56, of Anna died Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born Aug. 1, 1941, at Olmsted, daughter of Emil and Gladys McCluskey Schnaare. She married Raymond Theis on March 3, 1963.

She was a member of Wetaug Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Daren Theis of Millstadt; two daughters, Sende Theis and Rachel Mathew of Anna; a sister, Doris Gulley of Dongola; a half brother, Cleo Schnaare of Brookport; a stepbrother, Billie Max Lentz of Dongola; two stepsisters, Vida Ann Schluter of Texarkana, Texas, and Carolyn Wynn of Morton, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery.
