FROHNA, Mo. � Opal H. Stueve, 71, of Frohna died Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at SSM St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri.
She was born July 27, 1947, in New Wells, Missouri, daughter of Edgar �Ex� and Helen Koch Lorenz. She and Edwin Stueve were married Sept. 14, 1968. He survives in Frohna.
Opal held several office positions at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, LYF counselor, Sunday school teacher and 4-H leader in Farrar, Missouri. She loved her family, dancing, reading and crafts.
Survivors include three daughters and one son, Debbie (David) Haertling of Altenburg, Missouri, Donna (Darrel) Steffens of Perryville, Missouri, Glen (Valerie) Stueve and Dawn (Joseph) Haley, all of Frohna; four brothers, Randy (Brenda) Lorenz of Perryville, Dean (Joyce) Lorenz, Doyle (Lynda) Lorenz and Rick (Patty) Lorenz, all of Frohna; eight grandchildren, Kristine (Derek) Hurst, Jason Haertling, Tiffany (Justin) Masters, Brittany Steffens, Tyson (fiancee, Isabel Legg) Stueve, Macey Stueve, Abigail Haley and Joseph Haley; and one great-grandson, Kayden Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
She will then be taken to Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar for service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
