Opal N. Truitt Sandlin, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Monticello House.
She was born Feb. 8, 1919, at Menfro, Mo., daughter of William Edward and Lacie Alice Truitt Sandlin. She and Roy Golden were married Feb. 4, 1939. He died in 1953. She later married Charles Edward Lyons.
Sandlin was formerly of Perryville, Mo. She was a member of Seventh Day-Adventist.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Lyons of Cape Girardeau, Gene Lyons of Perryville; a stepson, Dallas Golden of Crosstown, Mo.; a sister, Verda Sutterer of Perryville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
The funeral will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at Crosstown.
