EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Opal Louise Redfering, 75, of East Prairie died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Dec. 9, 1925, in East Prairie, daughter of Rube and Mable Turner Manning.
A lifelong resident of Mississippi County, she was a member of Gospel Assembly Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Shewmaker and Wanda Whybark of East Prairie, Mable Curtis of Wickliffe, Ky.; a stepson, Jimmy Redfering of East Prairie; a stepdaughter, Becky Sickery of Sikeston; a brother, J.R. Manning of Cabool, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with James Bolden and Gaylord Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
