CHARLESTON -- Opal May Boyt, 89, of Charleston, died Friday, April 28, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born May 19, 1905, in Cairo, daughter of Ira and Rosetta Smith Drake. She and Andrew Jackson Boyt were married Oct. 21, 1919. He died July 27, 1984.
Boyt had lived in Charleston since 1976, and was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Jones of Charleston; a granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl Cox officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
