LUTESVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Opal M. Barks of Dexter will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Gerald Huffman and Dr. John Englehart, D.O., will officiate. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Barks, 80 years old, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1991, at Bond Nursing Care Center.
She was born March 5, 1910, at Lutesville, daughter of Andrew and Eva Ann Settle Englehart. She married Chester Barks in 1935, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Barks was a member of Dexter United Methodist Church and Dexter Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Barks of Seattle, Wash., Harold Barks of Honolulu; a sister, Essie Cooper of Lutesville; a granddaughter, Carolyn Dufner of Connecticut, and a sister-in-law, Helen Zimmerman of Glen Allen.
She was preceded in marriage by a brother and sister.
