PUXICO -- Opal Horton, 73, of Puxico, died Monday, June 5, 1995, at Puxico Nursing Center.
She was born June 30, 1921, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Willis and May Irene Wilson. She and James Horton were married in 1970. He died in 1988.
Horton lived in Poplar Bluff many years, moving to Puxico eight years ago.
Survivors include three sons, William Anderson of Troy, Edward Anderson of Puxico, Fred Anderson of Hopkinsville, Ky.; three brothers; two sisters; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis.
