Opal Herschbach

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Opal V. Herschbach, 90, of Perryville died Saturday, March 26, 2004, at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born March 27, 1913, at Longtown, Mo., daughter of George and Pauline Shade Wirth. She and Albert E. Herschbach were married Nov. 29, 1934. He died April 20, 1978.

Herschbach was a retired physical therapist aide. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Weinrich of Perryville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Private service was held Sunday, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Longtown.

Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
