OPAL HAMAN YOUNG

Opal Haman Young passed away September 21, 1999, at St. Joseph Health Center, Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau, Mo. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Deborah J. Young, Overland Park, KS, and her brother, Robert Haman, Sarasota, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Young; her sister, Pauline Nieman; and her brother, Roy Haman. Most recently, Opal was a resident at Villa St. Joseph in Leawood, KS. Although disabled, thanks to the kindness and caring of good friends, she had been able to live independently in Cape Girardeau beyond expectation. She cherished her life in ape, and those who made it possible will always be deeply appreciated. Opal will be remembered for her sense of humor, great cooking, love for sports, impeccable appearance and world-class smile.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date in Cape Girardeau.
