VIENNA, Ill. -- Opal Davis, 81, of Vienna, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Hillview Healthcare in Vienna.
She was born April 22, 1919, in Jonesboro, Ill., daughter of Henry and Mollie McNew Phillips.
She married Claude E. Davis Dec. 3, 1938, in Benton, Mo. He died April 7, 2000.
She had been employed as a clerk at the Ben Franklin Store in Anna, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Susie McHenry and Shirley Fuller, both of Anna; a brother, Carl Phillips of Anna; and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Hileman & Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd Stout officiating.
Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
