Onita Willer Popp, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Aug. 28, 1913, at Oak Ridge, Mo., daughter of Charles and Bessie Unger Willer. She and Edward Richard Popp were married Dec. 24, 1931. He died on May 28, 1983.
She was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. She was a self-employed caterer in Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1979. She formerly worked as a food service manager at Southeast Missouri State University. She also worked for the former International Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Charles Edward Popp of Huntsville, Ala.; a daughter, Susanne Kay Schonhoff of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Revs. Gary Belcher and S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
