SIKESTON, Mo. -- Oneta C. Couch, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 6, 1924, in Doniphan, Mo., daughter of Alonzo H. and Zora Haygood Cunningham. She and E.D. Couch were married Dec. 18, 1948. He preceded her in death May 19, 2000.
Couch was a member of Miner Baptist Church. She worked at International Shoe Co. and Caprico before retiring, after which she worked at Miner Baptist Daycare and Mothers Day Out at First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Carroll and Randy Couch of Sikeston, Gaylon Couch of Grants Pass, Ore., Chaylon Couch of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; a daughter, Joyce Kincade of Benton, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mitch Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
