Oneita McClary

O. Oneita McClary, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Searcy, Ark., daughter of H. Judson and Eula Barnett McDowell. She and Robert L. "Sonny" McClary were married Oct. 6, 1957. He died March 21, 1994.

McClary was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a nephew, Robert Crawford of Tucson, Ariz., and a niece, Marcia Stollings of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time Friday at Scopus United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Scott Moon officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
