OMA MASTERSON

Oma Masterson, 91, of El Dorado, Ark., died Monday, May 5, 1997, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home in El Dorado.

She was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Reynoldsville, Ill., daughter of Jacob and Nancy Belle Meisenheimer. She and Ralph R. Masterson were married Aug. 29, 1928, in St. Louis. He died May 3, 1979.

Masterson was a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She taught school five years at McClure, Ill., and College High School.

She lived in the McClure, East Cape, and Cape Girardeau area all her life until moving to Arkansas.

Survivors include a daughter, Marvel Warder of Magnolia, Ark.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. James Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
