BLOOMFIELD -- Graveside service for Oma Jane Ham of Bloomfield will be held at 3 p.m. today at Walker Cemetery, with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter in charge of arrangements.
Ham, 87, died Monday, Feb. 6, 1995, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1907, in Fifty-Six, Ark., daughter of Isaac Z. and Tennessee Qualls Southard. She and Robert E. Ham were married in 1927. He died Aug. 18, 1964.
Ham moved here in 1944 from Arkansas.
Survivors include two sons, Willie Ham of Bloomfield, Robert Ham of Alvin, Texas; three daughters, Royce Dyess of Livingston, Texas, Doris Niederstadt of Dexter, Evelyn Shell of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Ethel Holiday of Milan, Ind., Zora Escabar of Turlock, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, sister and five brothers.
