SCOTT CITY -- Oma Beal, 80, of Scott City, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1913, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Harry and Maude Drum Thompson. She and Emory Beal were married Dec. 9, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ark. He died March 27, 1972.
Beal was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Joella Arnzen of Kelso, Mae Sue Sprenger of Cape Girardeau, Ruth Ann Davis of Scott City; a sister, Eileen Brugger of Salem; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and brother.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Robert Smithey will officiate, with burial in Goschen Cemetery at Oak Ridge.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
