DEXTER, Mo. — Ollie Marie Sindle, 90, of Dexter died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
She was born March 28, 1918, in Dover, Ark., daughter of Charlie Franklin and Clemmie Agnes Boze Jones. She and Roy Eugene "Gene" Sindle were married Dec. 21, 1940. He died March 19, 1983.
Sindle was a charter member of Hooe Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Sindle of Bloomfield, Mo., Jerry and Ronnie Sindle of Sikeston, Mo., James Sindle of Oran; a daughter, Rena Matthews of Hillsboro, Mo.; two sisters, Neva Harris of Eureka, Ill., Imogene Harris of Benton, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and four brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Richbourg officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
