CHARLESTON -- Ollie May McTigue, 81, of Charleston, died Thursday, July 11, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1909 in Elizabeth, Ark., to Hiram Talbert and Ida Virginia Wiles Helms.
She was married Sept. 1, 1927, to W.A. McTigue, who preceded in death June 24, 1967.
Survivors are daughters Ozella Scott, Syvella Henson and Ida Hurley, all of Charleston; a sister Lillie Hardin; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Fremont McTigue; three brothers; and two sisters.
McTigue lived in Charleston most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Charleston.
Funeral services were held Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home. Burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston.
