EAST PRAIRIE -- Ollie Lee Ditto, 89, of East Prairie, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1904, in New Madrid County, son of John Everett and Birdie Bell Carter Ditto.
He married Frances Douglas, March 12, 1926. She died April 29, 1990.
Ditto lived in Mississippi county since 1969, moving to the area from Indianapolis, Ind., where he worked as a custodian at the American United Life Insurance Company.
He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include a brother, William Ditto of East Prairie; and four sisters, Viola Brewer of Sikeston, Velvia Williams of Morgan Hill, Calif., Delia Odum of Kennett, Ruth Bollinger of Logansport, Ind.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, with Bro. Lucian Bozarth officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery, near East Prairie.
