MOREHOUSE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ollie Hester Greer of Morehouse will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Milton Poole will officiate, with burial in Essex Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
Mrs. Greer, 69 years old, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 1990, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 15, 1921, in Hoxie, Ark., daughter of Forrest and Nora Coates Taylor. She married Clyde William Greer Dec. 24, 1939. He died April 13, 1976.
Mrs. Greer had worked at Todd Laundry in Sikeston.
Survivors include four sons, Donald, Tommy and Terry Greer of Morehouse, Dickie Greer of Kennett; three daughters, Joyce Tackett, Dianne Linderman and Melba Zenable of Morehouse; five brothers, Tom Taylor of Sikeston, Lonnie Taylor of Wappapello, Polk Taylor of Dexter, Bob and Pete Taylor of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Hare and Colleen Hada of Rockford, Ruby Curry of Sikeston; 18 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
