OLLIE COLLINS

Graveside service for Ollie A. Collins of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Collins, 81, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 9, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Frank and Ellen Smith Kesterson. She and Ervin Collins were married April 1, 1934, in Cape Girardeau.

Collins worked at a pants factory in Chaffee, and then worked 30 years at Ralph Edwards Sportswear.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ervin Collins of Whitewater, George Collins of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Ruby Collins of Delta, Ellen Knight of Ledbetter, Ky.; two sisters, Dorothy Hunnict of Ventura, Calif., Eula Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
